Who I Am
I'm Joy! A pet portrait artist living and working in East London with my Airedale Terrier, Bruce.
I began illustrating dogs as a hobby and not long after I began being approached for commissions. You can follow my journey into running a pet portrait business on my blog, where I share the highs and lows of starting and running a creative small business.
How I Work
All my portraits are digitally drawn using my iPad, and Apple Pencil and Procreate.
I prefer a highly detailed, realistic style of illustration and each portrait takes me 10+ hours to complete.
I make every effort to capture the unique personality and charm of your dog or pet, and my favourite part to illustrate are the eyes and nose because they really bring each illustration to life.
